Natural Grass Fields-From Construction to Performance & Perception

Natural grass fields have historically been perceived as poor performers since the influx of synthetic fields.  It’s not that natural grass fields are bad, perform poorly or are unsafe.  Some may say that they were never really given a fair chance due to construction and maintenance constraints.  This session will discuss why natural grass fields are viewed as they are.  We will examine the perceptions and benefits of a playing surface that can be playable and  safe in a public culture wanting everything natural.
